The U.S. Air Force’s advanced KC-46A Pegasus Tanker brings game-changing capabilities to America’s aging tanker fleet, and our service members agree.
The design of the Tanker is based on a Boeing 767 fuselage converted to include the latest aircraft technology such as digital refueling displays with 3-D imaging, enhanced threat detection systems, a dynamic refueling boom to support all kinds of aircraft, and much more.
“The biggest appeal is the tangible impact that you can have when it comes to force projection and global mobility,” said Master Sgt. Paul McIntyre of the 50th Air Refueling Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base. “No other country can do what we do with our tanker fleet.”
