This P-8A Poseidon with the U.S. Armed Forces completed a training exercise at Southern Beach near Kadena Air Base in Okinawa in partnership with our Japanese allies.
The P-8 is versatile, with long-range anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare missiles, as well as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities.
Southern Beach provides U.S. and Japanese personnel the opportunity to integrate as an allied force to better understand each other’s strengths and execute the mission of maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
