President Trump Just Revived this Decades-Old Council

President Trump’s blockbuster announcement that he will revive the National Space Council signaled to the world that America will remain the leader in space.

The Space Council, a decades-old body that was deactivated in 1993, will again bring together the brightest minds to advise the President on space exploration.

Announcing this Administration’s goals for the Council at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Vice President Mike Pence said, “Here from this bridge to space, our nation will return to the moon and we will put American boots on the face of Mars.”

Companies like Boeing will be a critical partner in America’s efforts to explore deep space.

Boeing’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, built for NASA, is the most powerful rocket ever created, designed to launch people and cargo beyond our moon and into deep space faster than ever before.

SLS is just one example of how American innovation will power a new generation of leadership in space.
