The CH-47 Chinook remains the only helicopter that can meet the critical, heavy-lift needs of the United States Army. The Army’s own analysis shows that the F Block II program would save more than $3 Billion versus any other modernization alternative. Without funding the CH-47F Block II, production for this combat critical helicopter is not sustainable.

The German government recently announced they were procuring the Chinook, calling the aircraft a “proven platform with potential for future growth” --- now the US Army needs to make a similar statement and move forward with the CH-47F Block II program.

If the Chinook production line is forced to close its doors, the impact would be felt by both our troops and by economies throughout America.
