Boeing Observes Manufacturing Day to Inspire Next-Gen Makers

Happy Manufacturing Day!

Manufacturing Day gives children a chance to visit factories and meet people like me and my teammates. They get a behind-the-scenes look at how we work together and combine our skills to build aircraft — and we get a chance to share our love of aerospace manufacturing with the next generation.

As a Fabrication Specialist working on Boeing 787s in Salt Lake City, I’m excited to tell my story.

Watch this video to see firsthand what me and my Boeing teammates have to say about pursuing careers in aerospace manufacturing.

Today’s manufacturing jobs require a highly skilled workforce, and Boeing is committed to investing in students who pursue education and job opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers.

I support STEM education because it prepares students to work in aerospace manufacturing and helps me to continue building the best aircraft in the world right here in America.
