The Freedom Plane is a National Archives traveling exhibition bringing nine original Founding-era documents to eight U.S. cities in commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.

Inspired by the Bicentennial Freedom Train, the Freedom Plane National Tour will make documents fundamental to America’s founding accessible to Americans across the country.

Its signature orange rocket – the Space Launch System (SLS) – is getting a makeover.

Following its successful 2022 mission – Artemis I – SLS will take astronauts around the Moon later this year in Artemis II. It will be the first crewed lunar trip since Apollo 17 and they will do it with custom-adorned solid rocket boosters featuring the “America 250” decal.

Artemis II will last 10 days, making it the longest crewed test flight in history. The mission is also set to break the record for the furthest human spaceflight from Earth.

SLS and the Artemis II mission will be a stylish, record-breaking tribute to American excellence.

The MQ-25 is an unmanned refueling aircraft with incredible range, making it critical for military missions around the world.

Refueling isn’t the only reason the MQ-25 is so valuable. It can also “perform intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.” Set to enter service in 2026, this incredible aircraft “will be the Navy’s first unmanned tanker” and its “first carrier-based drone.”

Its modernized variation, the F-15EX, is now in production and being delivered to the next generation of great American pilots.
